Visitor guide and practical advice

Lambsar Castle stands on a high rocky platform near Razmian and was among the largest and strongest fortresses in the Ismaili network. Surviving walls, towers and water-management structures reveal how its builders used the terrain for defence and long-term occupation. The site is exposed and the approach is mountainous. Visitors should check local access, avoid unstable masonry and use a local guide when conditions or routes are uncertain.

Before setting out, confirm opening arrangements, weather and road conditions through local sources. For natural and mountain sites, carry water, suitable footwear, seasonal clothing and an offline map. At religious places, follow dress and quiet-conduct expectations. Allow enough time for an unhurried visit, leave no waste and avoid disturbing residents, wildlife or ongoing activities.
